CUPIDO LEADS IN GOALS

A seven-goal haul on Saturday has taken Bairnsdale’s Damien Cupido to the head of Gippsland League’s goal kicking list.

The former Essendon player boosted his tally for the season to 35 goals to overtake Leongatha’s Chris Dunne, who did not play at the weekend.

Dunne and Maffra’s Mitch Bennett are on 30 goals each.

Warragul captain Brayden Fowler is fourth list with 29 after two goals against Traralgon.

Warragul’s 4ths hves three players in the year’s top 10 goalkickers.

Bill Bundle and Flynn O’Reilly have each kicked 17 goals, eight behind the leader Max Luckie of Traralgon.

Another Gull Fraser Phillips has 13.

The reserves list is headed by Nick Wozniak of Maffra who has 23 goals and in the thirds Rhys Anderson of Moe leads with 33 goals.
