Wednesday was stableford at Warragul with 56 women in the round.

Trophy sponsorshi­p was by the Waters family in memory of their wife and mother Beria Waters, a long-time member of Warragul Golf Club. Results: A grade: 1st Kay Thompson 32, 2nd Marie Veitch 31; B grade: 1st Zdenka Better 36, 2nd Judith Kennedy 33; C grade: 1st Noel Mackenzie 36, 2nd Julie Keeble 35; DTL: Barbara Glasser and Jill Little 34, Mary Firth and Wilma Henshall 32, Kylie Golding, Maureen Kittlety, Marg McNulty, Janine Williams and Linda Fowles 31, Lyn Morrison, Belinda Best, Tracey Cusden and Simone Herbel 30, Barb Davidson, Shirley Todd, Helen Amott and Dianne Mackay 29; Longest putt: Dawn Campbell; NTP: 7th and 15th Kay Thompson.

Eight women played nine holes with Barbara Wirth winning with 15 points from Annie Boyer14 points, Nancy Devries 13, and Marion Pertzel 13 points.

Tomorrow’s round is the Edna Duncan Chapman Foursomes.
