Drouin’s top team knocked out
Drouin’s number one side was knocked out of the finals series on Saturday but its division three side is still alive.
Despite going down to Longwarry by 41 shots, the division three team will play Traralgon at Yallourn on Saturday for a birth in the following week’s grand final.
Division one: Drouin 0/69 lost to Morwell Club 20/99.
Graeme Aubrey, Sheryl Atkinson, Glen Locket and Mark Atkinson (skip) lost to M. Coram’s team 25/31. Matthew Eccles, Ian McCartney, Mick Fleming and Adam Proctor (skip) lost to W. Lynch’s team 15/23. Maureen Leighton, Chris Stubbings, John Leighton and Matthew Schreyer (skip) lost to Ron Witton’s team 16/20. Davyd McIlfatrick, Les Firth, Dennis Throup and Gary Johnson (skip) lost to R. Smith’s team 13/25.
Division three: Drouin (2) 0/71 lost to Longwarry 20/116.
Laurie Innes, Janice Aubrey, Steve Barr and Graham Woolstencroft lost to Ken White’s team 16/21. Samantha Atkinson, John Bulmer, Col Jeffrey and Col Finger (skip) lost to B. White’s team 16/31. Bob Cole, Dale Hendrick, Tim Anderson and Noel Rubenstein (skip) lost to R. White’s team 20/28. Pauline Appleyard, Andrew Blaby, Phil Jarred and David Tayles (skip) lost to Trevor Eastwell’s team 19/36.

Tuesday
Drouin’s division one team are looking to finals after finishing top of the ladder.
Division four had a strong finish to the season, beating the top team on Tuesday. However, division two will be relegated after finishing the season with another loss.
Division one: Drouin 2/63 lost to Traralgon 14/68.
