Acting principal for Warragul Primary

-

Scott Clode has been appointed acting principal of Warragul Primary School.

Mr Clode comes to Warragul Primary School with more than 15 years of teaching experience in a variety of schools, teaching all year levels from Prep to seven across Victoria and in the Northern Territory.

For the past three years he has been an assistant principal at Hillsmeade Primary School, which has a student enrolment of about 900 students, around 560 families and more than 85 staff.

For Scott, Warragul Primary seems tiny with nearly 200 students spread across two large campuses.

Having grown up in the West Gippsland region, Mr Clode is excited to have the opportunity to meet and work with the Warragul Primary School staff, students and community.

As the principal he has a strong commitment to the education state targets: Learning for Life; Breaking the Link; Happy, Healthy and Resilient Kids; Pride and Confidence in our Schools.

He is looking forward to the Warragul Kids Farmer’s Market in March that is hosted at the historic Warragul Primary School junior campus, as well as the major new development of an Early Learning Centre.

Anyone thinking ahead to 2019 enrolments is invited to meet with Scott and arrange a school tour.

Mr Clode’s appointment follows Warragul Primary School principal Rosemary Allica taking long service leave.
