Having been sent in by the home side Drouin’s batsmen struggled to get going with four of the top five all getting starts before failing to go on with it.
Coming off an unbeaten century in the previous round Steve Austen was again in good touch, finishing the day on 25 not out.
Andrew Downie also provided some late resistance with a handy 25 not out.
Steven McGillivray was the pick of the bowlers snaring 3/21 off thirteen tight overs that included six maidens. Other wickets were shared evenly amongst the bowlers.
