Maiden ton propels Gulls

For the Bulls Peter Duffus was again the star with the bat top scoring with 31.

Arthur Begg and Ben Stewart (both 19) made good starts but the introducti­on of Ross and Gary Donoghue to the attack quickly wrapped up the Bulls innings.

Gary finished with the incredible figures of 2/0 off two overs while Ross chipped in with 2/14.

Bunyip will face Jindivick this weekend after finishing third.

Convincing win

Jindivick 4/198 def Drouin 9/192 (cc) Jindivick ran out convincing winners over Drouin after restrictin­g the Hawks to a below par total.

Resuming at 7/126 the Hawks were on the back foot early losing Andrew Downie for 25. Gavin Mills offered stern resistance batting out the remaining overs to finish not out on 46. Steve Austen added 11 to his overnight total to finish with 36.

Jack Braddick (2/31) made the early breakthrou­gh while Steve McGillivra­y proved hard to get away finishing with 4/29 off twenty-one overs (nine maidens).

In reply the home side got off to a flying start with Gordon Winstone (54) and Jack Braddick (27) putting on 84 for the first wicket.

Cody McCraw (23) kept the scoreboard ticking over while Kevin Larkman (50) and Daryl Bagnall (20*) carried their side to victory.

Dean Vincent was the best of the bowlers with 2/72. Jindivick take the advantage into their semi-final after finishing second.
