Trip down memory lane
Ninety people attended the recent Down Memory Lane reunion.
It was the 15th time the reunion event has been held.
Those attending enjoyed catching up with old friends and acquaintances, with another35 people unable to attend.
The reunion of people who have either grown up or lived in Warragul was started by Maureen Bannan in 2003, but due to ill-health, she has been unable to attend for some years.
Many travelled long distances to attend, some from as far away as Queensland and Tasmania.
The event, held in Pakenham, has become an annual event for many people, with lots of memories being swapped during the course of the day.
Don Cumming thanked everyone for coming, and recounted a couple of hilarious stories of his past.
He also thanked Jan Parkinson for organising the event.
Jan thanked Warragul Gazette proprietor Brian Hopkins for promoting the event.
