More than $10,000 worth of goods including a quad bike were stolen from a Neerim Junction property last week.

Police said the burglary at the Bransgrove Rd property occurred overnight on Tuesday night.

Offenders gained entry to the house via an unlocked door.

Police said the house was ransacked. Cash, a television and i-pads were stolen.

Police said offenders also accessed a shed on the property where they stole a 2017 Suzuki quad-king farm bike, a chainsaw and fuel.

In another incident, police also are investigating a burglary at a property in Higgs Rd, Drouin.

The burglary and theft occurred between 6pm and 8pm on Tuesday night.

Police said offenders used bolt cutters to force entry to a garage at the end of the property.

Two Stihl chainsaws valued at $1500 were stolen.

Police are investigating a burglary at an unoccupied farm house where it appears people have been sleeping at the house.

Offenders gained entry to the Shillinglaw Rd rural property between April 3 and April 13.

The house on the 20 acre property has been vacant for five years but some furniture was still in the house.

Police said the property owner was overseas at the time and neighbours notified the owner there had been people at the house.

Police said offenders stole a quantity of white goods and other items from the house.
