Drug charges

A Yarragon man and woman were arrested and charged with drug related offences after police executed a warrant at their Winston St home last week.

Police from the divisional tasking unit at Morwell executed a warrant at the property on Friday morning.

A police spokesman said a quantity of drugs were located and seized including heroin, methamphetamine, cannabis and methadone. Police also located a stolen off-road motorcycle at the property. A 50-year-old Yarragon man and a 45-year-old Yarragon woman were both arrested and charged with drug and other offences.

They were bailed to appear at Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Court at a later date.
