The Crows have moved to sec­ond on the Baw Baw Squash lad­der fol­low­ing their 2/7/71 win over bot­tom side Swans 1/3/52.

The Ea­gles slipped down to fourth fol­low­ing their loss to fourth-placed Vul­tures 1/3/62 to 2/7/72.

Top team Hawks main­tain their po­si­tion fol­low­ing their bye.

Play­ers to en­joy wins in three straight games in­cluded Jim Wilkin­son and Steve An­drews.

Fronting up for a sec­ond game, Wilkin­son en­joyed an­other three-game vic­tory, but only af­ter be­ing pushed all the way by a de­ter­mined Steve Mooney. The scores were 9/6, 9/5, 10/9.

Char­lie Hamil­ton won the best player of the round award with his four-game vic­tory.

Lad­der: Hawks 27, Crows 22, Vul­tures 21, Ea­gles 21, Swans 11.

Round 9 draw: Vul­tures v Hawks, Ea­gles v Crows, Swans bye.
