The first goal of the game came from Kelly Llewellyn at the end of the quarter to give the Dusties an eight-point lead in what was a congested game at times.

The second quarter was again congested with both teams working hard to push the ball forward, both teams scoring majors and inaccurate kicking by the Dusties giving them another 4 points and a 12-point lead at half time.

The third quarter would see some strong tackling and tempers being put to the test as both teams tried their best to get the advantage but all the Dusties could manage was three points for the quarter.

The final term the Dusties came out strong with the ball staying in the Dusties forward line for the majority and two fantastic goals by Jenna Tredwell sealed the win for the Dusties women by 24 points.
