Joel Baldwin scored in the first half as the sides went into the half time break locked at 1-1 apiece.
A goal to Paul Kuol in the second half deliv ered victory for Warragul to end a difficult run of losses.
The win moved Warragul to fifth on the ladder, just one-goal behind their Caulfield United rivals.
Warragul reserves put in a strong showing to defeat Caulfield United 4-1 and set up the opportunity for a clean sweep.
Three goals to one in the second half saw Warragul run away with it.

Strikers beat rivals
Bunyip Strikers defeated rivals Pakenham 1-0 in state league division five.
Unfortunately the home team couldn’t muster the numbers for a reserves team, handing Pakenham a 3-0 victory by virtue of forfeit.
Dragons feel heat
It was a difficult day at the office for Drouin, who suffered a 6-0 loss at the hands of Knox.
Entering half time with a 2-0 advantage, Knox slammed through four goals in the second half to round out a comprehensive win.
Drouin let an opportunity slip in the reserves.
Leading 2-0 at half time, Drouin couldn’t maintain the advantage as Knox scored three goals in the second half to run over the top.
