Idiotic decision

Re: new retail precinct, Warragul. Approving this development so far from the town centre must be the must idiotic decision Baw Baw Shire Council has made, particularly when there is a more suitable area available adjacent to the town centre – subject to a compromise on both sides

The stumbling block appears to be the old milk factory.

It must have been ‘industrial’ previously – so why can’t this small area be re-classified for now, allowing for the development of the remainder to go ahead.

With access to the development from the new roundabout in Mason Street, this would allow for further extension on the Queen Street frontage in the foreseeable future, once this matter is settled.
