Darren Littlejohn joins the Barry Bourke Warragul family
Darren Littlejohn has joined the Barry Bourke Warragul team after 10 and a half years working at Barry Bourke Berwick. Darren’s roles at the Berwick dealership included time as fleet manager and also as business and finance manager. He was also the general manager of the company’s leasing division during his time at the company.
Darren started his career in the automotive industry as an apprentice spray painter at the age of 15 when Holden, Toyota, Ford, Nissan and Mitsubishi were virtually the only car brands available in Australia. He then moved into teaching spray painting at TAFE and also spent 12 months working at a training institute in Mauritius. Darren then moved into spray painting training with a private training organisation. It was after this that Darren made the move to Barry Bourke Berwick.
Darren has taken on the business manager role at Barry Bourke Warragul. In this capacity Darren will be responsible for vehicle finance, fleet sales, sales support and the development of the company’s vehicle leasing arm ‘Think Leasing’.
The thought of a ‘tree change’ prompted Darren’s decision to transfer to Warragul. The opportunities within a rapidly growing district also encouraged Darren to move to the local Holden and Renault dealership. Darren said “the local people here are very friendly and they’ve made me feel really welcome. It’s a different atmosphere in Warragul. It’s more relaxed and I am really enjoying it here. I look forward to getting out and meeting more local people and also the business community”.
