One of the world’s finest guitarists will join Melbourne Chamber Orchestra for a passionate celebratio­n of music of Spain and Italy.

“MCO – From Venice to Madrid” will be performed at Wesley of Warragul on Wednesday, September 12 at 8pm.

Described by “Gramophone” as “superb” and “a thoughtful musician of considerab­le taste and technical prowess”, Christoph Denoth is one of the world’s finest guitarists. He is renowned for his peerless musicality and expressive sensitivit­y.

In his Australian debut, Christoph joins MCO for this passionate celebratio­n of life, love, music and dance. It includes Vivaldi’s Guitar Concerto and music of Albéniz, Malats, Granados and Boccherini.

Full of regional colour, infectious rhythms, soaring melodies and heartfelt serenades, this is music to lift the spirits and transport the audience through time and place.

Tickets are $50 for adults, $45 for concession, $42 for members and groups, and $33 for youth under 18.
