First premiership for Bulls

The Poowong-Loch Bulls and Caldermeade Cannons played off in the under 10 WDJFL decider.

A goal late in the first quarter saw the Bulls lead early and stay in front for the remainder of the day as the Cannons pushed forward again and again.

Caldermeade scored a point in the second quarter but couldn’t score again as the Bulls defence stood strong.

Another point then a goal in the last quarter for the Bulls sealed the game and got the club’s first ever premiership.

Supporting the Cannons in their first grand final were, back row from left Christine Chilvers, Julia Battiscombe, Mark Battiscombe, front row Andie Battiscombe and Portia Battiscombe.
