Grants session for businesses

Local business owners will have the opportunit­y to learn of government grants available at Drouin and District Business Associatio­n’s next networking event.

An experience­d business and property profession­al, Danielle MacFarlane has more than 10 years experience in the government sector and will be on hand to assist local business owners avigate the hundreds or grants that are available to small business.

Ms MacFarlane’s business works with small to medium sized businesses and sporting clubs in the Gippsland region to obtain government incentives and grants to help businesses and clubs to invest and innovate, ensuring long term success and goals.

The networking event forms part of the Business Group’s presence in providing businesses with networking events, learning and developmen­t opportunit­ies, promotiona­l support, personalis­ed business coaching and more.

The event will be held in the Royal Hotel’s new function room on Wednesday, September 12 at 6pm for a 6.30pm start.

Cost is $10 for business group members or $20 for non-members.

The aim was to develop a thriving economy with a strongly collaborat­ive, community focussed culture and a diverse network of successful businesses spanning multiple industries.
