Mawarra Opportunity Shop
The Mawarra Opportunity Shop has been operating and serving the community for 58 years with the Sorting Centre opening 12 years ago.
All monies generated by the shop and sorting centre go to support the adult disability services provided by Mawarra Centre in Warragul.
This includes lifeskills, fun social and physical activites.
Sixty dedicated volunteers sort, clean, price and sell donated goods at both the shop at 40 Palmerson St. Warragul and the large Sorting Centre, 14 June Crt. Warragul (near Bunnings).
Providing a pick-up and delivery service by arrangement, every effort is made to help the environment by recycling all items donated, either sold in our two locations or sent to the appropriate recycling organisations instead of landfill.
