3BBR-FM is the community radio station for the local Baw Baw region, providing their listeners with a wide variety of music, local news, information, and interviews.

3BBR-FM is also a great place for people to learn and gain experience in radio production skills within a supportive environment. These days they have nearly 100 dedicated members, of which about 55 are presenters.

In a recent radio listener survey, 3BBR-FM is estimated to have a weekly audience of nearly 8000 in a typical week or 22% of the 15+ population.

3BBR-FM can be heard anywhere in the world where you have internet access.

Quite a number of their listeners are from around Australia and also internationally tuned in.

3BBR-FM always welcomes new members and sponsors.

Board member David Piggin said in his 21 years as a member, it’s been one of the most rewarding volunteer organisations he has belonged to, in which he has met many amazing people.

“In this world full of turmoil, it is a wonderful way to destress oneself by tuning out of these problems by tuning in to Radio 103.1 on the dial.”

The West Gippsland Community Radio will hold its AGM at the Warragul Hub on Wednesday, November 28th, 7pm.

They will be holding a sausage sizzle all day at Bunnings on Sat, Nov 24 and Dec 8 outside Woolworths Drouin.

To find out how to become a volunteer you can call the station on 5625 4995.
