A mu­si­cal am­bi­tion

Bands from Trafal­gar High School have re­leased a CD of orig­i­nal and cover mu­sic ti­tled “Am­bi­tion”.

Com­ing to­gether as part of the “Kool Skools” pro­gram, the bands recorded the CD at Stu­dio 52 in Mel­bourne.

Fea­tur­ing a mix of cover songs as well as orig­i­nals cre­ated by the stu­dents in 2018, the CD is on sale from the Trafal­gar High School front of­fice for $5.

The “Kool Skools” pro­gram de­vel­ops and en­cour­ages young mu­si­cians and song­writ­ers by pro­vid­ing them with a pro­fes­sional record­ing ex­pe­ri­ence.

“This pro­gram is a great op­por­tu­nity to pro­mote and show­case the tal­ented stu­dents across all year lev­els who par­tic­i­pate in mu­sic pro­grams at Trafal­gar High School,” said prin­ci­pal Jane Mersey.

“The ex­pe­ri­ence of cre­at­ing these songs was a fan­tas­tic learn­ing op­por­tu­nity for our stu­dents, and now they have a CD to show­case their achieve­ments this year to friends, fam­ily and the wider com­mu­nity.”
