Rovers support peers
Rover Scout youth members from the Newborough based Capstaff Rover Crew found an unusual way to support their peers through recent exams.
The members made special care packages to help VCE students through their exams. The Rover Scouts are aged from 18 to 26 The care packages featured home made treats including rum balls as study snacks, tools for study such as highlighters and motivational messages, the kits were made over three weeks and distributed to Venturer Scouts in year 12 from Traralgon, Morwell, Churchill, Yinar, Trafalgar, Newborough and Warragul.
The small gesture was made by the Rovers to support their younger peers remembering what the exam period was like from the end of their own educational journey.
