Collision after evading police

A man and woman fled a collision scene in Brandy Creek Rd last Monday after evading police during a pursuit.

Warragul Police were called to assist Neerim South Police intercept the silver Toyota Spacia as it travelled south along Brandy Creek Rd at 2.45pm.

Police were called after receiving a report of an assault.

Police sighted the vehicle near Charles St and attempted to intercept the vehicle but the Toyota accelerated speed.

The Toyota collided with a second vehicle near the Alford St intersection. Police allege the vehicle was travelling at about 60 kilometres per hour when it collided with the second vehicle. No one was injured.

The male and female offenders left the scene and police later found the Toyota abandoned near Rotary Park in Latrobe St.
