Electric bike stolen from shop

An electric mountain bike valued at $7000 was stolen from a Warragul business early Saturday morning.

Police said offenders threw a rock through the front door of Baw Baw Cycles in North Rd at about 6am.

Offenders stole an electric mountain bike that was on display in the shopfront.

Police are investigating a burglary at a Caton St, Warragul house last week.

Police believe the offenders were disturbed when the owner returned home in the afternoon. A large quantity of goods including cash was found dropped at the back door.

A Samsung tablet and jewellery valued at $1000 were stolen.
