Social lunch

The Gippsland All-Abilities Social Group will hold a luncheon for its end of year breakup in Warragul on Friday.

The luncheon at the Warragul Sporting and Social Club Downtowner is the group’s second gathering in Warragul this year.

Phillip Chalker said the group aims to “bring the community together with or without a disability” in a bid to “break isolation and loneliness”.

Anyone, aged 18 and above, is welcome to attend. Carers and support workers are also welcome.

The group started holding monthly activities in 2015 with a focus in the Latrobe Valley. Expanding into West Gippsland was a new initiative for 2018.

The lunch will be held at 12noon with meals to be purchased at your own expense, plus a gold coin donation.
