Athletics for junior students

Junior school students at St Ita’s Catholic Primary School took part in an athletics carnival recently.

Under the guidance of senior students, students from foundation through to grade two tested their skills in throwing and catching, flying over hurdles and leaping into long jump.

Students earnt points for their participat­ion and dressed in their house colours to add to the spirit of the carnival, with some senior students adding to the colour of the day with their costumes.
