Saturday was the December monthly medal with 112 players enjoying fine and warm conditions.

Jim Defoe had a great day out, shooting a splendid 66 nett to win the medal and C grade.

Jye Kruyer shot a one under par round to win A grade with 69 nett, while Sean Kelly’s posted an excellent 67 nett to be the best of B grade.

NTP: 5th Gavan Feaver, 8th Colin Hunt, 10th Josh Van Raay, 14th Mark Allen.

Wednesday was a great day with a good midweek field of 99 playing a stableford event.

Phil Willshire took out A grade, returning a brilliant 43 points.

Jock Granger was the best of B grade with 39, while C grade saw Noel Robertson score 42 points to be the victor.

Wednesday is the mid-week medal with Saturday being a stableford event and green keepers’ revenge.

Seniors

It was another nice morning for the Drouin Senior’s nine-hole event last Thursday.

Margaret Murray and Megan Ford were joint winners in the women’s division with 17 points.

The runner up was Jan Stone with 16 points, followed by Ann Roberts, Judy Dixon, Lorna Hoskins, Anne Neilson and Julie Kidd with 15 points.

In the men’s division the winner was Reg Dixon with 20 points.

The runner up was Kerry Neilson with 19 points, followed by Tex Devlin with 18 points.

Then came Graham Dorling and Rolf Loebert with 17 points, and Bill Petschack, Peter Downward, Barry Baskett and Gilbert Davis with 16 points.
