Rubies moved clear on top of the Warragul Thursday women’s tennis ladder with victory over Pearls in round eight.

Sapphires moved to third on the ladder with victory over the Diamonds, who have slipped to second. Results: Sapphires 3/29 def Diamonds 3/28, Rubies 4/32 def Pealrs 2/26, Emeralds bye.

Ladder: Rubies 41, Diamonds 37, Sapphires 31, Pearls 29, Emeralds 22.
