What a week for Drouin Bowling Club who secured big wins in all pennant division on Saturday.

Division one: Drouin 18/109 defeated Morwell Club 2/61.

Janice Aubrey, Sheryl Atkinson, John Leighton and Toby Wallace defeated L. McKenzie’s team 26/15. Matthew Willis, Ian McCartney, Gary Johnson and Adam Proctor lost to B. Harle’s team 18/19. Samantha Atkinson, Les Firth, Dennis Throup and Matthew Schreyer defeated D. Stevens’ team 34/13. Ron Brodie, Dale Hendrick, Mark Atkinson and Glen Locket defeated J. Millier’s team 31/14.

Division three: Drouin (2) 20/150 defeated Warragul (3) 0/58.

David McIlfatric­k, Andy Kidd, Tim Anderson and Noel Rubenstein defeated Mick Cousins’ team 43/11 to be “best overall rink” with a 32shot win. Laurie Innes, Graeme Aubrey, Maureen Leighton and Arthur Moore defeated Fred Pitcher’s team 37/13. Bob Cole, Matthew Eccles, Colin Jeffrey and Colin Finger defeated Graeme Atkinson’s team 41/12. Steve Barr, Chris Brownlee, Phil Jarred and David Tayles defeated Eric Porter’s team 29/22.

Division four: Drouin (3) 18/112 defeated Yarragon 2/75.

Mal Anderson, Richard Joiner, Terry McFadzean and Brian Thorpe defeated B. Robertson’s team 27/24. Don Mowat, Elaine Thorpe, Ray Watson and Neil Bullen defeated J. Griggs’ team 39/16. Margaret Rhodes, Gwen Price, Margaret Schofield and Barrie Price lost to Richard Polmear’s team 17/23. John Bulmer, Mary Firth, Peter Hone and Neil Stoney defeated Sam Mazza’s team 29/12.

Division six: Drouin 8/64 defeated Trafalgar 2/37.

Max Hine, Gary Watts, John Kinrade and Kevin Potter defeated Margaret Moss’ team 41/13.

In this match, Tom Lawler was away for the day. Taking his place was Kevin Potter who was playing his first game for 12 months.

With the help of his team, Drouin defeated Trafalgar by 28 shots.

Jim Purvis, Maureen McMillan, Ian Haughton and Les Gouge lost to G. Sephhton’s team 23/24.

This game came down to the last end, with Drouin just going down.

Next week’s matches are: division one Drouin away at Traralgon RSL, division three away at Boolarra; division four - away at Garfield; division six - home to Longwarry two.

In midweek pennant results, Drouin had wins in divisions one and three but a loss in division four.

Division one: Drouin 14/59 Morwell Club 2/53.

Maureen Leighton's team of Margaret Schofield, John Leighton and Elaine Thorpe won 21/18.

Sheryl Atkinson's team of Mary Firth, Les Firth and Steve Barr won 25/13.

Jan Aubrey's team of Lyn Jeffrey, Graeme Aubrey and Laurie Innes lost 13/22.

Division three: Drouin (2) 14/80 defeated Morwell (2) 2/51.

Gwen Price's team of Margie Rhodes, David Tayles and Trish Cole won 39/15 to be the “best rink winners” with 24 shots up.

Judith Stoney's team of Irene Dawson, Dini Hone and Lorraine Fox won 22/16.

Jan Johnson's team of Jenny Woolard, Maria Wans and Lyn Rippon lost 19/20.

Division four: Drouin (3) 0/26 lost to Warragul (3) 10/43.

Kath Dixon's team of Pat Yeo, Joan Lang and Maureen Brunet lost 12/26.

Lorraine Kinrade's team of Barb Watts, Maureen McMillan and Ian Haughton lost 14/17. defeated

Drouin Bowling Club held women’s final on Sunday.

In the men’s final, Mark Atkinson defeated Les Firth 25/24. It was a measure that decided this championsh­ip.

In the women’s, Sheryl Atkinson defeated Maureen Leighton 25/18.
