Wake up, you’re under arrest

An alleged offender that fell asleep on the job was arrested by Warragul Police last week.

Police arrested the 24-year-old Pakenham man when he fell asleep in his car at the Queen St/Victoria St roundabout at 4am last Monday. Police said the man was asleep in his car in the middle of the roundabout The car was towing a trailer allegedly containing stolen property from Allambee.

The stolen property included motorbikes and chainsaws, which police recovered from the trailer.
