Choosing to bat first the Titans got off to a flying start with Gavin Koch (41) and Darren Vandenberge (63 retired not out) setting the pace.

Al Bliss (28) and Ray Evans (32) kept the scoreboard ticking as the home side set a required run-rate of more than six runs per over.

The ever-reliable workhorse JP D’Amico was the pick of the bowlers with 3/28 with good support from young spinner Luke Garner 2/28 and club stalwart John Laffy 2/11.

In reply Josh Winfield (23) and Raman Gautam (29) embraced the challenge, getting the Warriors away to a fantastic start.

Elliot Kennedy (50 retired not out) kept things locked down at the other end and was rewarded with a half-century. Unfortunately, the visitors fell away late in the day and weren’t quite able to chase down the large target.

Vandenberge proved again his ability with both bat and ball, returning figures of 3/22. Aaron Maxwell chimed in with 2/28.
