Book-in for break­fast

Book­ings will close soon for Drouin’s 40th Aus­tralia Day Break­fast to be at the Angli­can Parish Hall in Princes Way on Satur­day, Jan­uary 26 at 7.30am.

This is a free event, but book­ings are es­sen­tial.

The break­fast is con­ducted by the Drouin Ro­tary Club on be­half of Baw Baw Shire Coun­cil, with cater­ing pro­vided by the Drouin Branch of the Coun­try Women’s As­so­ci­a­tion (CWA).

This year’s guest speaker will be ed­i­tor of award-win­ning War­ragul and Drouin Gazette Carolyn Turner. Her topic will be “Our di­verse com­mu­nity in a di­verse world”.

En­ter­tain­ment at the break­fast will be pro­vided by the War­ragul Brass Ensem­ble, un­der the lead­er­ship of band­mas­ter Ben­jamin Sim, and lo­cal vo­cal­ist Mar­garet Schellekens.

Book­ings close on Mon­day Jan­uary 21, un­less pre­vi­ously fully booked. Seats at the break­fast may be re­served by call­ing 5624 2411 or vis­it­ing the shire’s Drouin Civic Cen­tre.
