Snapshot of the past
A photograph postcard of the pumping station on the Tarago River at Rokeby c.1912.
The river and pumping station were the source of Warragul’s water supply at this time.
The remains of the station can still be seen by the river whilst the pumping machinery is now with the Baw Baw Old Engine and Auto Club at Darnum.
