Exhibition Nine

-

Textiles, cooking, music and art were celebrated at St Paul’s Anglican Grammar School’s “Exhibition Nine”.

The evening was hosted by year nine students to celebrate their 2018 learning journey in the specialised year nine program.

The exhibition was also a farewell to the Miller’s Factory Centre with the year nine program moving to a new two-storey, six-classroom building complex in 2019.

At “Exhibition Nine”, students talked about the various aspects of their year such as participation in the community awareness program, city experience program and outdoor education camp.

Food technology students took part in a “master class” cooking competition to demonstrate skills learnt in this year’s Food Wise class. They were required to make a gluten free lamington and present it to judges in 30 minutes.

Textiles students showcased designs with a fashion parade of colour and flair.

Music students entertained the audience with performances of “Riptide” as well as an original composition.

Art students exhibited fine art, photography, visual communication and design, wood and metal work and textile creations.

Awards presented included certificates for short story books students made in English and the Year Nine Photomedia Acquisition Award which was awarded to Jessica Emmett.
