Warragul Camera Club

On Monday, January 7, 40 club members saw and judged the Warragul Camera Club’s monthly competition for the subject “Something Old”. A total of 69 entries were received and judged.

Club member Gary Smith gave an excellent presentation on the methods of judging and scoring of competition photography.

The points of the presentation included ‘what judges look for’ and ‘scoring levels’. Club members then formed the judging groups which judged and scored the winning images for “Something Old”.

Prints A Grade: 1st Robyn Wright, 2nd Jane Woodcock, 3rd Cathy Tisdale HC Marg Tylee and Robyn Wright. Prints B Grade: 1st Nigel Beresford. Digital A Grade: 1st Ruth Burleigh, 2nd Gary Smith & Roger Keagle, 3rd Linda Keagle HC: Adrienne Cornish, Roger Keagle and Ruth Burleigh.

Digital B Grade: 1st Andrea McVicar, 2nd Nigel Beresford, 3rd Rose Bosse, HC: Rose Bosse

Creative A Grade: 1st Linda Keagle, 2nd Roger Keagle, 3rd David Woodcock HC: Linda Keagle. Creative B Grade: 1st Kerry Matthews. Members were each awarded certificates as acknowledgments of their wins.
