Division 3

- By Joel Batson

Garfield-Tynong 5/220 def Drouin 101 Darren Vandenberge (67), Daniel Savage (57) and Anthony Hart (42*) all combined to help Garfield-Tynong to a convincing win over Drouin.

The trio pushed the home side’s score to 5220 off their allotted overs, as the Hawks had no answers on the quick outfield.

Dale Kelly (2-41) tried his best for the Hawks, but the away side were simply outclassed with both bat and ball as Vandenberge (3-24) and Savage (2-22) showed their all-round prowess, while Jett Pickering (2-0) cleaned up at the end.

Bulls back on winners list

Bunyip 113 def Jindivick 93 The Bulls seem to be back to winning ways, as an outstanding bowling performance proved to be their calling card, defeating Jindivick by 20 runs.

Batting first, Bunyip were disappointing to say the least, as only Tyler McMillan (46) saved his side from complete misery as the Bulls were rolled for 113.

Jarratt Eastburn (3-18) and Sayeed Shah (322) showed their class, while Christian Stacey (2-9) provided handy support.

In reply, Jindivick were seemingly home at 266 with a strong middle order to take them to victory.

However outstanding spells of bowling from the reliable Davis McConnell (3-14), Scott Squires (3-23) and Ben Sharpe (2-7) proved the difference, as they bundled the Jumping Jacks out for 93.
