With the final round of one-day action to be played this weekend an all Jindivick final looks to be on the cards unless third placed Longwarry can cause un upset when they take on ladder leaders Jindivick Black.

They will also need sixth placed Drouin to knock over Jindivick Gold, who currently sit in second.

Other clashes will see Hallora and Iona battle it out with the winner avoiding the wooden spoon, while Warragul and Ellinbank will be keen to find some form as they head back into the longer format.

Black race to win

Jindivick Black 1/126 def Iona 7/124 (cc) Jindivick Black maintains its position at the top of the one-day ladder after racing away to an easy win over Iona.

After being sent into the field the Jumping Jacks struck an early blow before good starts from Chris Phelan (32) and Graeme Rankin (27) got the Swamp Tigers’ innings underway.

A tight spell from Ant Maguire (2/17 off eight overs) restricted the scoring during the middle overs as the batsmen struggled against the change bowlers.

Mohammad Sohaib (21) offered some resistance along with Michael Scully (15) and Lachlan Howard (15*) as the visitor saw out its allotted overs.

In reply, the home side were never headed as an unbeaten 126-run second wicket partnershi­p saw them across the line in just the 23rd over.

Jindivick skipper Steve Fricke joined Shane Hoskins with the score on 1/0 but once they got started the pair never looked back.

Fricke showed the bowlers no mercy, dominating the scoring to finish with 77 not out, while at the other end Hoskins played his role to perfection to finish with 41 not out.

Crows flying high

Longwarry 1/112 def Hallora 10/110 Longwarry are flying high after a comprehens­ive nine wicket victory over Hallora.

Choosing to bat first the Kangas got away to a steady start, reaching 2/64 with opener Brian McDonald (37) looking dangerous.

A horror patch that saw them lose 4/8 soon gave the Crows the upper hand and with wickets continuing to fall at regular intervals the home side were eventually bundled out for 110.

Rohail Rafat proved too much for the tail to handle, finishing with 4/11 off six overs.

Eddie Morris (2/15) and Jordan Kingi (2/12) chipped in with tidy spells.
