The cooler weather encouraged a good field of Drouin seniors to compete in their ninehole event last Thursday.

The winner in the women’s division was Judy Dixon with 20 points.

The runners up were Jeanette Phillips and Glenda Warren with 19 points, followed by Ethel Manley with 18 points.

Then came Audrey Farthing with 17 points, Marion Devlin, Helen Andreasen, Dagmar Forbes and Kay Grieve with 16 points and Marg Cox, Deb Daniel and Megan Ford with 14 points.

In the men’s division, the winner was Bob Gatecliffe with 22 points.

The runners up were Peter Britchford, Graham Dorling and Kerry Neilson with 19 points, followed by Gilbert Davis with 17 points, Gordon Warren with 16 points, and Rolf Loebert, Richie Thomas and Phil Edwards with 15 points.
