Delight and despair for Drouin

-

Drouin Bowling Club has fallen just short of winning the WGBD division six west final.

The team thanked all the supporters who came to barrack for them against Trafalgar. However, it wasn’t enough to get over the line.

The club now turns its attention to the division three team who will play in the grand final against Trafalgar on Saturday at Newborough.

Division six: Trafalgar (3) defeated Drouin (4) 64/26.

Max Hine, Richard Joyner, Les Gouge and Kevin Potter lost to Geoff Burt’s team 13/31.

Jim Purvis, John Kinrade, Gary Watts and Ian Haughton lost to Pat Tatterson’s team 13/33.

The club congratulates the team for reaching the semi-final and congratulates Ian Haughton who went from a lead to skipping in one year.
