Both teams fought out a tight four quarters which resulted in a draw at the final whistle. Awards: Anna Green and Bec O’Halloran. C grade: Warragul 25 lost to Morwell 26. A hard-fought game saw Warragul record its first loss for the season.

Despite the result, the Gulls showed incredible teamwork and support the whole way through and did not once drop their heads.

Awards: Jessie Gleeson for an excellent second half in keeper and Georgia Lyons for being a consistent contributo­r. Under 17s: Warragul 25 lost to Morwell 41. Knowing it was going to be a tough game against a top side, the Gulls came out firing and played with great intensity throughout the whole game.

Although the girls didn’t get the win, it was exciting to see the side play netball at the level they are capable of.

Awards: Laura Miller for a great game all over the court and Bridie Mulqueen for another very consistent and impressive match in attack. Under 15s: Warragul 14 lost to Morwell 32. Warragul faced a lot of positional changes on Saturday.

Rylee McCarthy moved and shot beautifull­y in goal shooter while Bella Hefford created space in centre. A big congratula­tions to Zoe Phillips for playing her 50th game for the Gulls.

The girls send their love to coach Paris Wright as she recovers from a knee reconstruc­tion. Under 13s: Warragul 27 defeated Morwell 24. With both teams in front at various times throughout the game, it was a tight match from the first whistle.

The Gulls showed that they know how to dig deep and play four strong quarters, resulting in their second win of the season.

Each girl played a valuable role in Saturday’s win and did everything that was asked of them. A special mention to teammate Keeley Pyle the girls won it for you this week.
