Curves & Kisses
My name is Donna Wood, I am a mother, loving partner and now a new business owner. Let me tell you how I have come to own this amazing store Curves & Kisses.
After moving away from the Warragul area with my partner Craig to the beautiful Phillip Island, living the dream for 10 years, we packed up our whole life in a camper trailer with a five month old baby Ashlee to go travelling.
After travelling one side of Australia to the other our fortunes changed, our trusty car blew up destroying all our plans and dreams. Stuck in mid coast WA with no money, family support or a home, we decided to head back to Warragul and were lucky enough to be able to bunk up at Craigs dads place to get back on our feet.
Mary (Craig's mother) owned Curves & Kisses at the time which was located in Drouin back then, took a chance on me and offered me a few hours a week.
This was back in early 2010. That's when and where it all started. Mary taught me the ropes and together with the move to Warragul location we went to training and expanded the business. 8.5 years working under such an amazing woman and mother-in-law, I continued to learn and enjoy my job.
For the past few years I have been managing the store. It was time to bite the bullet and Mary was more than ready to retire and relax.
Craig and I decided to buy the business, as of January 2nd I am Curves & Kisses.
I have had the privilege to have my beautiful daughter and supportive loving partner and family helping me make my dreams come alive with a new and improved store appearance and direction which is slowly taking place.
