Let down youth

-

To the best I can conjure in my own mind, I am convinced that as a community we have let down our youth.

From party drugs to excessive drinking, we, as a community, have failed to address the needs of our youth. We cannot practice discipline over the autonomous youth however, we can effectively address the issues we have allowed to exist.

A huge bouquet to the kind person who handed my debit card in at Woolworths on April 18. I only realised I had lost in on April 27 and after backtracking my movements, made an inquiry at the Woolies counter where it was returned to me. Thank you for your honesty and I wish you good karma in the future.

Bricks to the dog walkers in Robin Hood/Amberly estates who do not pick up after their pets. A recent problem which is becoming worse. Disgusting.

A Bouquet to the Baw Baw Shire Parks and Gardens staff. Brooker Park Warragul, and the whole Linear Park from Burke St is looking beautiful, the best I've ever seen it. And in these COVID times it’s getting plenty of use.

Bouquet to Adrian at Coles. Thanks for your kind help with the newspaper request.

Brick bats to those people who walk around the McNeilly lake on Jackson Drive two abreast along the path and don’t move to single file when they pass other walkers. Others have to move off the path and at times there is nowhere to go. Please show some consideration for others and allow 1.5 metres distance.

A load of bricks to the disgusting people who discarded their used latex gloves in the Woolies car park over the weekend. Take them home.

Bouquets to Voyage Fitness, Warragul for its four week fitness challenge and virtual classes. A great way to keep us fit and connected when the gym is closed and there are limited opportunities for our regular programs. Good camaraderie
