Tree devastation
I am writing in relation to the tree removal in mcGlones, Rd, Drouin.
I am astounded that housing developers can pour buckets of money into terracing and flattening steep land, and draining and generic lake-making in low swampy land, but cannot afford to retain stands of trees, especially identified significant trees.
I am also astounded that engineers and planners cannot find ways to protect local natural assets rather than plonking straight lines onto our wonderful undulating landscape.
Visit McGlones Rd from Drouin Golf course end and drive through to Longwarry Rd, and think about what is lost and the further destruction to come.
The Baw Baw Shire ‘Drouin PSP documents’ indicate that existing vegetation will be retained along McGlones Rd.
To think I believed them.

Bricks to the person who keyed my car in the Coles car park last Thursday. My car is not perfect, but this is very poor behaviour. Have some respect.
Bouquets and bricks to Baw Baw Shire for the footpath edger, but does he need to leave so much mud on the footpath?
A big bouquet to the lovely young check-out woman at Woolworths who smilingly sorted out the inconsistent soft drink prices to my advantage.
Truckload of bricks to all the idiots at Warragul Farmers Market who have no idea what social distancing means. Staying apart keeps us together.
