April fool?

The absurd situation of only some children going back to school and then only on some days reminds me of an April Fool spoof in the UK.

It was announced that Britain would change to driving on the right to be in line with European neighbours.

But because it was a big undertaking it would be phased in. Trucks and buses would drive on the other side of the road to start with and if this proved successful then private cars would follow a month later.

The illogical phased return of kids to school in Australia is as crazy as the 1st April prank in England.
