Bricks and Bouquets

-

Bouquets to Bunnings Staff and Management for the opportunity given to my 17- year-old daughter and the warm welcome she has received since starting there as a casual in the last couple of weeks. Bricks to the grumpy customer who verbally abused my daughter as she was diligently trying to resolve a technical issue while trying to assist you and other customers. There is no excuse for this behaviour.

Bouquets to people in the McDonalds drive through at Drouin on Saturday morning. The customer in front of me paid for my order so I thought I’d pay it forward and paid for the customer behind me. Hopefully such actions make us all feel better in these COVID times.

A massive brick to a business in West Gippsland who broke every COVID rule there is while I was dining there recently. Dining numbers were clearly breached and the staff didn’t even bother to wear face masks. The rules are there for a reason and we all need to abide by them.

To the lovely gentleman in the white utility and the gentlemen, his wife and child in the white BT50 for stopping and helping me on September 23,.

Whilst making a u-turn in the rain my car slid into a ditch on Korumburra-Warragul Rd the kindest of passerbys stopped, assisted me and helped tow my car out of the ditch. It was so amazing to see even in COVID-19 restrictions to still have the help and kindness around town. I was unfortunate to not get their names, but feel it needs to be acknowledged and I am truly grateful and appreciative of their kindness and help.

Biggest bouquets ever to the couple who kindly took time and trouble to assist when our Terios had a flat battery after filling up with petrol at BP. Short runs due to COVID a cause for our predicament. Our warmest thanks.

Huge bouquet to Warragul Specsavers staff who assisted my husband and myself when I collapsed in the store on September 30. Your wonderful support was much appreciated.
