Who is paying?

-

In response to the replied comments by Mr Miskin, making the claim that those who don’t believe in god are in fact “fools".

Some of us much prefer more appropriate titles, such as my favourite “Members of the 21st century" “Let there be light"- said god.

Some of us simple ask the sacrilegious question: “who's paying the electricity bill?"

A community member took the keys from a mother at a Drouin service station and rang police after observing the woman in an intoxicated state.

The woman, who was driving with two children in the car, allegedly recorded a blood alcohol content of 0.317.

Police said the community member observed a minor collision at the Princes Way service station just before 7.30pm on Wednesday night.

A Toyota Hiace, driven by a 39-year-old Drouin woman with her two young children as passengers, allegedly collided with another vehicle at the service station.

Police said the witness heard the woman telling the other driver she had no insurance and paid the driver $100 to not report the incident to her insurance company.

Police said the other driver left the scene. However, the witness, who believed the woman was intoxicated and should not be driving, took the keys from her and phoned triple zero.

Baw Baw Highway Patrol police attended and conducted a preliminary breath test. After recording a positive result, the woman was taken to Warragul Police Station for an evidentiary breath test that recorded a blood alcohol content of 0.317. Police said a drug test was negative.

The vehicle was impounded by police.
