President Bruce Langdon welcomed members to the first face to face meeting in more than 12 months. Bruce welcomed new members Jan Lobato and Russell Spicer.
Jane Woodcock thanked the members who helped with the National Competition judging day and called for help setting up the exhibition on May 13 and dismantling on May 17.
Ron Paynter presented an audio visual of autumn colours photography taken by club members on the outing to Cloudehill Garden and Nursery at Olinda. The next outing is scheduled for May 20 to Dandenong Ranges Botanic Gardens.
The May tutorial will be a portrait presentation by member Paul Robinson on May 10, and registration is required. In July, Ewan Bell will run a four week workshop on e-book curation, Ruth Burleigh is the point of contact for the event.
The next meeting will be on June 7 when the AGM will be held at Mawarra Workshops and nominations for committee positions are called for now. Also, entries for the monthly competition of “Water in Motion” are due and both prints and digital images can be entered.
