Warragul Community House would like to take this opportunit­y to thank each and every one of our amazing volunteers

We currently have 9 fabulous front desk volunteers- Shirley, Kaye, Barb, Kim, Annie, Linda, Faye, Pat, Terri, Debra & Kathryn.

We also have several terrific social group leaders, who cheerfully give their time Glenys, Jen, Diane, Min, Lyn, Michael, Barb, Jen. G, Diane. L, Gail, Michelle, Derya, Pat, Barb. M, Jean and Anne.

John who comes in every Tuesday and Thursday to work oneon-one with members of our community who need assistance with technology phone, laptop, etc.

This is a free service which we are delighted to be able to provide.

Cliff takes care of all of our IT needs, and is on call to assist us whenever we run into any tech issues. He also does a lot of work behind the scenes and volunteers as a member of our Committee of Governance too!

Dick has been volunteeri­ng at Warragul Community House for many years giving his time to do odd maintenanc­e jobs around the house and maintainin­g our lawns.

Denis is volunteeri­ng his time to get our “deck project” up and running. He has been fantastic with following up quotes and permits, and keeping us in the loop with the progress.

Glenys volunteers her time every week to facilitate a FREE Be Connected program for members of our community. This teaches members of our community the basics of computers and is a great stepping stone into our next level computer courses such as Easy Steps to Computers and Inter

mediate Computers for Work or Home.

We also have 3 fantastic volunteer tutors Michael who runs a Car Maintenanc­e course, Cheryl runs some pressure cooking classes, and Leith is offering a Pilates class this term.

We currently have 11 members on our Committee of Governance- Hanna, Cliff, Peter, Di, Farhat,

Kath, Sunhil, Teresa, Rosemary, Quinton and Jessica who give their time to ensure the Warragul Community House strives and runs at its greatest potential. Come along and meet them, along with some of our other wonderful volunteers at our Bunnings Sausage Sizzle on Saturday 22nd May!

We would like to thank each and every volunteer, past and present, for their time and commitment to making the Community House such an inviting, friendly and happy place for members of our community to join, socialise and learn together.
