Long before Australians drove the famous HOLDEN cars this iconic brand had its name on saddles & buggies, golf clubs and pedal cars... trams and aero engines.

From humble beginnings as a saddlery in Adelaide the HOLDEN name quickly became synonymous with engineering innovation, industrial pride and Australian ingenuity.

The Trafalgar Holden Museum in Gippsland Victoria helps tell that remarkable story and celebrates Australia's HOLDEN Heritage. Opened in 2014, the Tourism awarded Trafalgar Holden Museum is housed within the old Trafalgar Butter factory on Waterloo Road, founded by local Holden enthusiast Neil Joiner and a team of like minded car enthusiasts.

The museum is not-for-profit, managed and run entirely by its volunteers and houses a collection that has been deemed nationally significant following a formal Significance Assessment through National Library of Australia in 2020. It found that the museum's collection is significant, both socially and culturally, to Australia.

If you are coming to the event simply look for the Red Commodore on a pole - and you have found the Museum
