BE Performing Arts school (Warragul) is in it's 7th successful year. Starting in 2016 with their signature class BE which includes dancing, singing, drama, presenting, public speaking, choreographing, microphone technique and directing. Although these are all important, the main focus is building life skills through performing arts for everyone. BE is all about digging deep to build resilience and joy that can be carried through life both on and off stage. With a new in house BE TV channel for budding tv presenters and television actors BE is branching out. Since 2016 BE have had past and present students acting in professional film, TV and Musicals.

In the last 2yrs BE has proven it's resilience by providing zoom, daytime homeschool, art and in studio classes to suit all creative types and covid requirements. We are 100% covid safe and provide a safe and nurturing environment. At BE "we don't just teach it, we do it" is a motto used from the start as Michelle Theunissen -Scott (Director) is passionate about students being taught and mentored by qualified industry professionals.

Michelle herself has had 27yrs of experience as both a professional in the entertainment industry and performing arts teacher. Some credits include Mamma Mia film, Wicked Musical West End, Lion King Musical, numerous International concert tours, TV performances alongside directing, TV presenting and choreographing. Mentoring students is a passion for Michelle as she loves helping them to discover their self worth and undiscovered gifts regardless of age as she understands first hand that everyone's journey is unique.
