What do Girl Guides Do ?

-

We believe that girls of every age have the capacity to be actively involved in, and ultimately take ownership of, all aspects of their Girl Guide Experience. Girls develop curiosity through hands-on learning, and engage in relevant activities based on their own interest.

Girl-Led is an integral part of providing the best opportunities for girls of all ages to be the best version of themselves allowing girls to participate in experiences that connect them to their identity and to our world.

Guiding Program

The Australian Guide Program is a non-formal educational program based on shared leadership and decision-making at all ages. It is a variety of fun activities that focus on self-development in the areas of practical skills, physical development and relationships with people, appropriate to age and interests. Guides of all ages are involved in decision-making, planning, implementing and evaluating their activities.
